Vintage'54 Stratocaster Hand Wound Pickups Lacquer Potted. Both are used to seal the wire to avoid microphonic noises and squeals. This eliminates all microphonic noise and squeals. This does eliminates most of the microphonic noise and squeals while allowing the wire to remain free inside for a more high-end airy lively tone. These vintage'54 pickups follow the formula of the early Fender Stratocaster days to create a genuine vintage sound. Our Vintage'54 pickups use Alnico III magnets to give a warm smooth sound without sacrificing clarity just like the early days of the Fender Stratocaster. We lacquer dip all of our bobbins for durability then lacquer pot them to avoid microphonic noises and squeals.

All of our pickups are hand wound and scatterwound. Each of our hand-wound sets are signed, numbered, and dated. 100% made in the USA. Neck and bridge are north up while the middle is south up and reverse wound. Period correct staggered pole pieces with aged finish.

Average read outs: Neck 5.9, Middle 6.0, Bridge 6.0 but each may vary slightly. Period correct 11 inch long cloth push back wire.
