Another most excellent build from the Fender Custom Shop! This Limited Edition '67 Strat is built with an Alder body which has been sorted for weight and finished in a heavily distressed, Aged Black (nitro lacquer of course).

The aging package is Heavy Relic. The neck is Rift Sawn Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard that has been sorted for Dark wood.

It has been carved to a killer "66 Oval C" profile with comfortable but substantial dimensions. 910" - think '69 small U but with slightly softer shoulders and includes other premium features like a 9.5" radius and 21 x 6105 frets. The pickups are a Hand Wound setup comprised of one of my favorite combinations - Custom '69 in the neck, Fat 50's in the middle, and a Texas Special in the bridge position. These are wired up with always dependable Vintage Modified #2 setup. Overall Takeaways - It plays great, sounds great and feels great! So as I said, "lots of greatness".
