Latest offering from'The Rhoadhouse' this' drop in'' Premium' tone upgrade for your Strat. Mercifully short INTRO: This is a PREMIUM drop in control setup featuring Fenders'Greasebucket' Tone Circuit, introduced in 2005 on several guitars in the'Highway One' series, and several Custom Shop models.

According to Fender:'The Greasebucket tone circuit adds a new dimension to your tone, the effect being that, when rolled down, the tone pot reduces the high frequencies but doesn't add any bass. Basically it is combination of'high-pass' AND'low-pass' filters, as opposed to the standard Strat's. Variable low-pass filter' (or'treble-cut filter'), which allows you to roll off the highs AND lows while preventing your tone from becoming'muddy. Especially useful for creating the classic Strat.

Sparkling clean tones, but also equally adept at cleaning up overdriven sounds, which is ideal in the studio. 5-way switching, this is a vast improvement over the Factory product.

In a departure from my usual methods, this Listing is for hard wiring in your pickups, though it can be built as a'solderless' install if required; simply ask. Chances are, your current knobs ARE NOT GOING TO FIT the CTS shafts on these pot's. YOU NEED CTS SIZED KNOBS! Now, it saddens me that it has become neccesary for me to say this, but here it is.. Does NOT constitute'The knob stopped working,' nor is it'poor workmanship' on my part, nor a'manufacturing fault' by CTS!

I chose the second option, though I'm STILL not factoring in the cost of packaging, which all has to be paid for.. Still the same First Class world wide service though. That way, if you, the customer, have any specific alterations you may like to request, they can be incorporated into the build.
