Fender Made in Japan Ken Stratocaster Experiment #1 Original White L'Arc-en-Ciel. This is a new Japanese signature model of Ken, who has been using Stratocaster for many years as the guitarist of L'Arc-en-Ciel, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2021. The combination of the original white body, matching head, and gold hardware was designed from Ken's image of kintsugi (gold-plated Japanese pottery).

The elbow contours, which are minimally cut, are painted gold, and the acrylic pickguard and control panel show that even the pickups, controls, and spring cavities are painted gold. The thick neck, which was profiled from Ken's own machine, and the rigid body without the back contour, combined with the "V-Mod II" pickups and "Fat 50s" direct-attachment pickups, have achieved Ken's ideal sound.
