Fender FSR Made in Japan Traditional II Late 60s Stratocaster Surf Green. Fantastic to play, fantastic tone, fantastic aesthetics, and limited availability production. Encapsulates what we love about late 60s Strats in a brand new, superbly crafted, limited color combo package we'd be happy to keep around for the long term. There is no fret wear. The truss rod has been tested and functions properly. The electronics all function properly. This Strat weighs 8 pounds.

Setup has been dialed in upon arrival, with medium action, optimally adjusted relief, and proper intonation up and down the neck. 009.042 strings are installed.

This guitar is part of a 2023 Fender Special Run for one Japanese music retailer and features a gorgeous gloss polyester Surf Green finish with 3-ply Eggshell pickguard and control knobs. A late 60s plus-sized headstock with Fender Vintage "F" tuners sits atop the impeccably crafted maple neck with urethane gloss vintage tint finish and just a bit of birdseye peeking through on the maple. The familiar 25.5-inch scale U-profile maple neck feels reassuringly substantial and comfortable to play without feeling clunky.

The 1.615-inch wide real bone nut sits at the top of the classically beautiful rosewood fretboard, which offers 22 expertly finished vintage frets and white dot position markers. Fender Vintage-Style single coil pickups provide plenty of classic Strat tone, with ample snap, clarity, and complexity. Body Finish: Gloss Polyester Surf Green. Scale: 25.5 in (64.77 cm).
