Here is the story about these guitars sent to us by our friend and long time Fender Rep, Ken Feist.. In July 1992 Fender had a regional trade show in Columbus, Ohio called seven dates for seven states and Ohio, my territory, was one of the sites. It was held at the Hyatt Regency downtown Columbus, Ohio. That summer NAMM did not have a summer show and Fender decided to do seven of their own shows throughout the country and since one was in my territory, management ask every Fender Sales Manager to conceive a Custom Shop Guitar for his show. The Custom Shop was really starting to do well with products they were creating. I could not decide on what to buil for my territory, a Strat or Tel, so I called John Page, Manager of the Custom Shop, and asked if we can go with the idea of a matching set. We made 22 sets of this guitar and yours are serial number 10 set. Your Fender Rep Ken Feist. This letter will be included with the guitars. Try to find another guitar pair like these.
