The Custom Shop-model Fender 1967 Stratocaster HSS Relic is a thrilling guitar - complete with all of the attitude, appearance and inspiration you desire from a vintage-style model. Masterfully-built in America, this Strat shows off a calming Aged Dakota Red lacquer finish with a relic'd pattern that gives it the look of a guitar that has seen years on the road. There's nothing like picking up a Custom Shop Stratocaster and feeling the electrifying vibes that invigorate your playing.
It's built from a two-piece alder solidbody with a quarter sawn maple neck for ultimate playability, followed up by a stellar AAA rosewood fingerboard that feels smooth and comfortable all along the'65 Strat C-pattern neck. With mother-of-pearl facedots and a multi-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, the 1957 Strat takes no nonsense when on the stage or in the studio. Two hand-wound Strat Dual Mag II single-coil pickups rock with an infinitely powerful tone, and are matched by a Zebra Shawbucker at the bridge - all shaped using the volume and two tone controls, as well as the three-way toggle switch.
The Custom Shop bridge brings stability along with versatility, thanks to the synchronized tremolo for interesting tone shaping.
