Featuring high-output humbucking pickups, a Medium "C" neck with 12 radius rosewood fingerboard and jumbo frets, black painted headstock and black hardware, the Boxer Stratocaster HH delivers Super-Strat playability, versatile humbucking and single-coil tones and high-contrast style.

Made with High Quality in Japan. Following in the spirit of the recently-resurrected HM Strat, Fender has brought back another forgotten gem from the hair metal heyday - the Boxer Series Stratocaster HH. First appearing in the Fender Japan catalogue in the mid-80's as part of a contemporary, high-performance range of instruments; Fender has now secured a new run of these guitars from the original Fuji factory. Featuring high-output humbucking pickups, rock-solid Gotoh tuners, a Medium "C"-shaped neck and a 12-inch radius Rosewood fingerboard - the Boxer Series Strat will perfectly suit modern players seeking powerful tones and "Super-Strat" playability.

Unique aesthetic touches include a black-painted headstock, stealthy black hardware and a stunning metallic finish. Fender's MIJ Boxer Series Stratocaster is designed for high-octane performances, with a light basswood body making onstage acrobatics a total breeze! Its balanced tonal qualities are ideal for the potent-sounding humbuckers too, with the classic Strat contours letting the body rest comfortably against you in standing or sitting positions. The Basswood body is joined with a bolt-on Maple neck, bringing out plenty of pronounced top-end. Shaped to Fender's acclaimed Medium "C" profile, the Boxer Strat's neck strikes the perfect balance between thin and fat - slim enough for shredders, without alienating traditional rockers. A smooth satin finish provides a smooth and slippery feel, with 22 jumbo frets making vibrato and string bends effortless to control. A pair of Fender's proprietary Boxer Series humbuckers give this instrument an authoritative voice. Plug into a high-gain amplifier and bask in the searing, saturated sounds of these aggressive pickups that yield tight lows, punchy mids and sickly-sweet highs. If full humbucking tones are too much, you can take advantage of the Boxer Stratocaster's coil-split switch to attain true single-coil sounds suitable for clean settings.

Fender's TBX Tone Control is adored by old-school Fender fans, and was installed as standard on Strat Plus models produced in the'80s and'90s. Available as an aftermarket upgrade in the years since, Fender has decided to factory-fit its Boxer Series Strat with this versatile electronic mod. TBX functions as a standard tone control from 1 to 5, after which it decreases resistance - sending more bass, treble, presence and output to your amp. Neck Finish: Satin Urethane with Gloss Polyester Headstock.
