Custom Fender Vintera Road Worn LE Stratocaster Gilmour Inspired Black Strat

  

Here's another beauty for the Gilmour tribe! Built by E11even Guitars using new genuine Fender parts, this is a tribute to the final configuration of the Black Strat.

The body is a new genuine Fender Vintera 50s Limited Edition Road Worn Stratocaster made of Alder with a factory heavy relic Black nitro finish, with it's original aged chrome hardware including a big block vintage style tremolo bridge with the wider string spacing and an E11even Guitars custom aged short 4.25 bar like Dave's. The pickguard assembly is all new components and consists of a thick one ply black acrylic pickguard with hand polished edge to stay true to a proper Black Strat. The pickguard was relic'd in our custom shop to better match the Fender Road Worn finish. It is loaded with the same pickups found in the limited edition artist series; Seymour Duncan SSL-5 in the bridge position, Fender Custom Shop 69 in the middle and Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s in the neck. The electronics consist of CTS 250K volume and tone pots with a. 047uf Orange Drop tone capacitor and a CTS no load blender pot in the bottom tone position, a CRL 5 way switch and a Switchcraft jack all wired with Gavitt vintage push back wire. And you can add as much as you want as opposed to the all or nothing of a mini-toggle. When this pot is turned up to 10, it is true bypass and your 5-way switch functions as normal. The middle tone knob gives tone control for all 3 pickups. This is a much more useful configuration in our opinion. The rear tremolo cover has been omitted like the original Black Strat. The neck is a new genuine Fender 50s Road Worn nitro.

It features 21 vintage frets, 7.25 fretboard radius, upgraded bone nut, chunky Soft V profile and is loaded with a new set of aged relic Gotoh SD91 vintage tuners and a Kluson string tree. The guitar is strung with David Gilmour signature GHS Boomers 10-48 gauge strings with the tremolo setup traditional floating (as it should be?? It weighs 7.3 lbs and includes the Tweed hardshell case shown.
