Light weight 2 piece premium ALDER (loaded it is a light 6.08 lbs; unfinished body was only 4.05 lbs--with our Fender neck and Kluson tuners it was 7.45 lbs). Add a neck and you're ready to rock; well, you'll need to adjust the saddles for your neck (action, intonation) and setup the trem to your preference, etc.
